Bonded RPE

Specification：

The function of Bonded RPE is similar to Banded RPE.The only difference is the method of attachment, which uses acrylic coverage instead of metal bands.Bonded RPE also covers the occlusal surface of the posterior teeth.The acrylic blocks are bonded to the teeth with specific adhesive.

Important Properties：

1. It reduces teeth crowding.
2. It corrects crossbite.
3. It improves breathing (reduces nasal resistance).
4. It is easy to be cemented during the mixed dentition stage.
5. It reduces tipping and extrusion of molars.
6. It improves vertical control.

Indications：

1. Narrow upper jaw (compare to the lower jaw)
